What is hormonal imbalance…Can you relate to following symptoms…
You follow all the rules, but You still can’t lose the weight.
You think “I’m just getting old and my metabolism is slow. It’s genetic. There’s nothing I can do about my hormones and weight loss.”
 You ask your doc, Don’t you have a weight loss pill you can give me?
 I’ve tried everything to lose weight. Maybe I need to accept myself as fat, and give up my skinny clothes.
 Nutrition strategies that work for others don’t seem to apply to me.
 I lose few kgs , and then I regain more kgs.It’s so frustrating!
There are about 50 hormones in human body and all these have specific work to do…it’s like various pipes and wires in your 

if one stops functioning properly, your car will not move…same is for the body…
Now why does the hormonal imbalance happens:-
1. Natural Imbalance(which actually part of body functioning)- like when it happens at puberty, pregnancy, menopause and age related.
2. Unnatural- This happens due to Stress, Lifestyle problem, digestive problems and Thyroid function.
What are signs, that you have hormonal imbalance:-
weight gain
Belly fat 
Sleep disorder 
Hunger pangs 
Sweet carvings 
fluid retention
PMS mood changes like anger, irritable and anxiety which can last from a day or so to weeks
migraines and headaches
breast tenderness at times 
heavy periods, or very light periods if you have low estrogen/ progesterone
infertility
cramping pains, back pains
Tiredness even after good sleep and adequate rest
Problems with skin and hair like hair fall,thinning of hair, acne, pimples etc
Now why do you do about it? How do you get your hormones in harmony, how do you reset them to their original self. Visiting a doctor is a very good idea. Here are few things which if you make as habit will help 
1. Emerging insulin resistance is one of the most common hormonal imbalance, small changes in diet — such as eliminating processed foods, sugars and wheat — are steps in the right direction. Go completely sugarless/carb less for 3 days at least in a month.  
2. Eat healthy fats like ghee, coconut oil, peanut oil etc. You must have at least 5-6 teaspoon of this in your daily diet.
3.  Reduce your caffeine intake, improve your sleep and manage your cortisol. 
4. Avoid taking birth control pills on your own( your doc will prescribe it to you if you have PCOD, that’s a different story)
5. Omega-3 fatty acids will be a great help. Include items like fish, fish oil, walnuts, soya Ben etc in your daily diet. 
6. Increase your intake of vegetables, in terms of salad or lightly sautéed or boiled. Have 3-4 a day at lest. Replace your snacks with these.
7. Not more that 2 fruits a day please,and eating it before 5 pm is good. Include magnesium rich food in your diet like fistful of various seeds, spinach etc.
8. Please please use supplement only with doctors prescription.
9. Too much of anything is bad…same is with protein, monitor that.
10. Be the “Sleeping Beauty” and make sure you sleep at least for 7 hours. 
11. Exercise at least 5 hours a week. Don’t overload your body with any particular food group like too much of dairy, grains & fruits.Moderation is the key.
